Week 17 19-20

Scotty-

Math: I practiced more times tables.  I am trying to memorize them all.

Language Arts: I told a story and I drew a picture. I practiced adjectives. Then I did a picture and used adjectives to tell all about it.

Science:  We learned about why we need blood.  It makes all the food and water and oxygen go to all the places it needs to go.

TECH:  This is my favorite thing I ever built.  It was so fun to drive it everywhere!

Karate: I got my stripe!  I almost won the board breaking contest!  I was second place.

Beth-

Math: I am learning my counting by fives!  I mix it up with my tens.

Language Arts: I am reading bigger and bigger stories.  I liked this story.  I like that the momma is so strong.

Science:  We learned about blood.  It goes all over and keeps you alive.  Without blood we would totally die!

TECH: I made a train track.  But I had to invent the way it got to the castle. 

Dance: It was my dance concert!  I did it!  I had Christmas Fairy hair!  I had a starry dress!  I LOVED IT!

Week 16 19-20

Scotty-

Math:  I am still learning 6 times tables.  It is really hard. But I am memorizing them.

Language Arts:  I read a short story, about a girl and her chipmunk.  She accidentally took it to church.  I gave an oral report on it.  I also practiced my handwriting and I am reading a new book Mrs. Piggle Wiggle's Magic.

Science:  We asked the question, "What is the coldest place on the Earth?"  It is the South Pole.  Now I want to know what is the highest place on the Earth?

TECH:  I made a wind car.  The wind makes it go way faster!  I also built a cool building where I made little blocks fit into big blocks.

Karate: I am able to do way more push ups.  It is one of my goals.

Beth-

Math:  It's time to count by fives.  I am learning a counting by fives song.

Language Arts: I am reading the new way. I am doing way better! I am reading short stories like Scotty!

Science:  We learned what the coldest place on Earth is.  It is South Pole.  I was wrong. I thought it was the North Pole.

TECH: I built this shooter.  It makes the car's go SO FAST!  I won every time!

Dance: We practiced for my concert next week! I am going to be SO READY!
