Weekn 23 19-20

Scotty-

Math: I  am doing double digit multiplication. I still don't like it.

Language Arts: I learned about North America.  I am reading a book too. I also did handwriting. also am learning about how it is shaped. I had to draw the map, and decide what I want to write a report on.  I chose Costa Rica.

Science:  I learned what is the biggest number.  There really isn't a biggest number, because you can always add one.  There is a number with 100 zero's.  It's name is googl.

TECH: I made part of a car launcher. I will finish it next week.

Karate:  I did my karate test.  I have no clue how I did.  I might have passed.

Beth-

Math: I practiced tally marks.  I also played a game where we kept score with tally marks.

Language Arts: I read this story.  It was about a boy playing and a girl what would pray.

Science:  I learned about a number googl and some others.  We learned ways to get around.

TECH: I wrote a story with my Aunt Kristie.  It was lovely.  I Also built a car launcher. 

Dance:  We did a dance recital for my grandma and grandpa.  I taught Aunt Kristie and Uncle Greg some of my dancing moves.  When uncle Greg did the dance with me we crashed into each other.  It was so funny!

Week 22 19-20

Scotty-

Math: This time I did multiple digit multiplication.  I made a mistake and had to redo every page I did and I was so sad.  But I did learn it and figure it out.

Language Arts: I did prepositions again, and common and proper nouns. I named the puppy Little Puppy and the boys name was Little Bear.  They were from the Pomo Indian Tribe.  The painter painted the boy and his dog a long time ago!  I got excited when I saw that it was a Native American because I know that you are too!  Do you like the picture or no?

Science:  We learned about how animals see at night.  I started crying because there was an eye that got cut in half so we could see inside an eye and couldn't stand it.  I was so sad for that cow that lost their eye. 



TECH: I built a car that drives by itself out of Lego's.  It's really cool!  I put a weight on it for when it goes over a ramp.  So it doesn't flip over like it does sometimes.

Karate: Karate this week was good.  I don't know what to say, it was just normal.  I kicked and I punched and I am getting ready for the test coming up.

Beth-

Math: I did tally marks again this week.  I thought they were fun, but very hard to do the right number. 

Language Arts: So the horse got gas for the car, but the car had to make a promise that the car has to not make fun of her again.  I loved the story this week, it was so funny.  If I had to choose I would be a horse not a car. 

Science:  We learned about animals in the nighttime.  They can see a lot easier than we can because there eyes are seen differently.  Our eyes have blood vessels inside them and they make our eyes look red in the camera.

TECH: I built this windmill myself this week.  But it always is hard.  I am proud that I built it by myself this week.

Dance: I thought dance was fun this week.  We had a different teacher I never had before.  But they had a weird song this week.

Week 21 19-20

Scotty-

Math:  I am still studying my times tables. This week I am doing eights.  I think these are the hardest.

Language Arts: This week I did prepositions and I fixed mistakes in a paragraph.  I don't like prepositions.

Science:  We made crystals for two weeks.  It wasn't working, but we fixed it.

TECH: I built another vehicle.  This one I added a back to that swings around. 
  

Karate:  I didn't get my kicking stripe. I tried and failed. I am trying again next week.

Beth-

Math: I did shape reviews.  I also learned about tally marks.

Language Arts: I read some new story the new way.  This one was about a horse and a car.

Science:  My unicorn finished growing. It is so pretty and sparkling!  I love her! I named her Fiesta!

TECH:  I had to design a house for my kitten. I made it a castle!  It even has a balcony.

Dance:  There was no dance. I start next week!

Week 18-20 19-20

Scotty-

Math: I built this for my math.  I times tabled the number of blocks and I named the shapes of the Pokemon.

Language Arts: I am reading Happy Birthday Mrs. Piggle Wiggle.  There are funny parts in the book where kids learn lessons really funny ways to change. I did my handwriting and reading.

Science:   We are making crystals, but mine didn't work.  I don't know what went wrong and we are trying to fix it again.

TECH: This time I made an awesome car.  I loved the back and how it moved and could pull things.

  

Karate:  I got my sparring stripe this time!  I only need one more to be able to test again!

Beth-

Math:  I am still learning to count my fives.  I am getting better and I am learning a song to remember how to count.

Language Arts: I did handwriting and reading.  I am getting better and better at reading the new way!

Science:  We are making crystals!  I made this beautiful unicorn and it is almost done.  It is taking so long!

TECH:  I built this ALL BY MYSELF!  It spins and I am so proud of me!

Dance:  There was no dance this whole Christmas and we need to start my new class.  I am sad about it.
